over 50 weight loss

Welcome to my blog!

I’m 53, a mom, and I’m going through menopause. And yes, I'm trying (once and for all) to achieve my "body" goals.

I don't even know what weight I'll be! I know I'm not wearing a bikini any day soon (or far).

I just know that arthritis is starting and I want to have a good rest of my life.

I’m tired of hiding in my clothes instead of expressing my personality. Know what I mean?

I’ve tried keto and never achieved that burst of energy, even after 3 months. I couldn’t work out— I was just too tired! Yes, I tested ketones and took electrolytes. 

It did teach me the power of low carb/high fat...just not at keto macro levels. 

I started on January 20, 2020 at 175. I’m 5’2” so I have some ways to go! I’m at 170.2 this Super Bowl morning and I’ve been up and down a pound for a week. Not a great day to be on the threshold!
